Hieroglyphics

Description
During the late 1990s, my work took me to the Middle East, especially Egypt and Jordan. I was drawn to the hieroglyphics that I saw on many of the monuments, tombs and ruins. This type of writing has a whimsical, decorative quality that I sought to capture in the images.
