These color photographs show the spaces in between the houses of East Cambridge and Somerville, Massachusetts. They are the driveways, alleys, courtyards, and gardens, which comprise the outdoor living spaces in these neighborhoods. These spaces remind me of dioramas that contain complex, colorful and visually rich components.
