Grid Portfolios

The Grid

I have always been interesting in experimenting with photography. One experiment that particularly intrigued me was to cut out small pieces (2”x2” squares) from multiple photographs and combine them into a new image. I found that a grid was the most effective way to structure the work. I applied this technique to four different subjects: Ruins in Jordan; Headstones in Concord, MA; Antonio Gaudi’s Architecture in Barcelona, Spain; and the deCordova Sculpture in Lincoln, MA.
